Refund Policy

Effective Date: July 24, 2026

At Onigiri Design Studio ("Onigiri", "we", "our", or "us"), we strive to deliver high-quality design services and ensure every client has a positive experience. Because our services involve time, expertise, and creative work, our refund policy differs from that of physical products.

Discovery Calls

Complimentary discovery calls are provided free of charge and therefore are not eligible for refunds.

If you are unable to attend your scheduled meeting, we kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance so we can arrange another suitable time.

Design Services

Once a proposal has been accepted and payment has been made, work may begin immediately.

Before Work Begins

If you cancel your project before any work has commenced, you may request a refund. Any applicable payment processing or administrative fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.

After Work Has Started

Once design work, research, planning, strategy, or production has commenced, payments are non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• UX/UI Design

• Website Design

• Mobile App Design

• Brand Identity Design

• Design Systems

• Product Strategy

• Graphic Design

• Presentation Design

• Any other custom creative services provided by Onigiri Studio

Subscription Services

For monthly design subscriptions, payments are non-refundable once the subscription period has started.

Clients may cancel their subscription at any time before the next billing cycle. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not entitle the client to a refund for the current billing period.

Project Cancellation

Clients may terminate a project at any time by providing written notice via email.

If work has already begun, all completed work and time spent up to the cancellation date remain billable. Any unpaid invoices for completed work must be settled before project files are released.

Deliverables

Due to the customized nature of our services, all design deliverables are created specifically for each client and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged.

Final source files will be delivered according to the agreed project scope and only after all outstanding invoices have been paid.

Refund Processing

Where a refund has been approved, it will be processed within 30 calendar days using the original payment method whenever possible.

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.
